“Module” refers to a group of CASA subjects which must be completed as part of licencing requirements. There are 17 modules in total, and those required for licence categories are outlined in the Part 66 Manual of Standards (Reference: Part 66 MOS, Table on Page 27). 

The pass mark for all CASA modules is 75%. The format, knowledge requirements, number of questions, etc are all outlined in the Part 66 Manual of Standards (Reference: Part 66 MOS, Pages 26 to 91).

N.B. CASA has full authority regarding the “modules”. Where training and examinations are offered, this must be conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with approval under CASR Part 147.
